TCR Mini Camps
TCR has booked dates around the academic calendars for Boulder Valley School District/ St. Vrain School District for 2018 to hold Mini Horse Camp Days! Let your children come enjoy the thrill of riding and learning about horses on their days out of school. We encourage early registration, as these days are very popular and tend to fill quickly.
9:00-2:00 Cost: $125 a day / $225 sign up for two day camps
Beginner to advanced riders/ Students of all ages
Riding/grooming/games on horseback and education/learning about horses
Spring Break Horse Show Mini Camp: March 29th and 30th.
Thanksgiving Break Mini CampTBD: Riding, games, chores and actives of fun all around the horses.
Holiday Break Mini Camp: TBD: Riding and caroling with the horses, making peppermint horse cookies, Candy Cane Races on horseback, making stocking for lesson horses
Drill team is a group of horses and riders working together to create a dance like performance on horseback choreographed to music This camp will sharpens rider’s control of the horse's speed with precision riding while working as a team. Riders love this camp as they ride and ride to music for their big performance! Join us Friday afternoon for a performance for family and friends!
DEVELOP leadership abilities, build character and experience pride

CREATE choreograph routine to music, design costumes, performing in front of a audience
RIDING horsemanship skills, bareback, moving dismounts, control, and safety with qualified riding instructors
LEARNING the history of the Equestrian Drill Team and the art of riding in formation
TCR Schooling horses available or bring your own horse to camp, $100 additional fee for board.

Performance: Friday June 27th Starts at 5:00 *Note: Friday Performance information will come home with campers during the week
Ages 9-16 Girls and Boys Max: 10 riders per camp
Riding experience: English or Western riding. Both camps will be doing walk/trot and some cantering.
Friday camp hours 12:00-5:30(5:00 Presentation)
All materials for costumes provided. Camp tee shirt made by campers for performance. Please include tee shirts size at sign up.
Campers bring snack/sack lunches M-Fri. TCR will not provide any food for campers. Water bottles a must.
Riding boots, riding pants, helmets (TCR does have schooling helmets are use)
Please be sure you notify camp director of any allergies or allergic reactions we should be aware of. .
Cost: $500 Deposit: $200 (Non refundable) due two weeks prior to camp date with registration forms. Camp balance due 1st day of camp.
TCR is offering multiple camp options so your horse crazy camper can experience all types of fun with horses. Each camp theme will expand your child’s horse and riding knowledge. Campers have hands on experiences all day with the horses, including learning responsibility through horse care and chores. Ride English, western and bareback to learn each of the different disciplines! TCR is dedicated to providing each camper with new and exciting experiences!
Horsemanship Show Camp: Ages 6-15 this camp is designed to introduce riders to the responsibilities and fun of attending and participating in a horse show. Campers will have daily chores and horse care while spending the week learning about planning a horse show and preparation for competing in their chosen discipline. ( Horse show will be in addition to the show camp fee @ $15 per class 1-5 classes). Campers are not required to participate in show day.
Horsemanship Camp: Ages 6-13 Explore different types of riding, English, western, bareback, games and trail riding. Daily chores and horse care including nutrition, vet & farrier work .Camper will learn horse safety, horse behavior, grooming, braiding and bathing. Different fun activities with the horses: dress up, painting horses, mini horses and more! Friday fun day for parents to come watch!
Time: 9-2 Monday-Friday
Ages: 6-12 boys and girls (turning 6 within the summer/fall months ok)
Cost: $500 Deposit $200
T-shirts for each camper, please put size needed when registering for camp
Beginners to experienced campers, this camp has fun and learning for all levels of riders. Exp. to no experience there’s always something to learn about horses in our camps.
Please bring long pants for riding, sunscreen, water bottles, closed toed shoes
Helmets and heeled boots are mandatory and can be borrowed from the ranch if you do not have your own. Limited boots sizes.
